Operations Analysis:
One of our primary services is an Operations Analysis.
This includes the review of the current laws, business
practices, administrative practices, staffing practices,
field operations, inter-agency relationships, and any
other relevant areas. This information is then analyzed
to determine the optimum design of future computer systems.
Our
Analysis Reports cover the history, operating environment,
and strategic plans of the operations being reviewed.
This is coupled with the specifications for the computer
systems best suited to support the operation.
Organizational Restructuring:
Often FOCUS-C.M.C. system installations have accompanied the reorganization and restructuring of client's operating practices. FOCUS-C.M.C. encourages each customer to look at the introduction of new computer systems as an opportunity to improve current operations.

Training:
FOCUS-C.M.C.
considers training to be a key component to the success of any new system. For that reason, FOCUS-C.M.C. has developed a philosophy that everyone involved should be exposed to the system depending on their level of involvement. FOCUS-C.M.C. training is always tailored to the Customer and the audience.
Top level management does not need to know which button to push but rather what information is now available. Likewise, the IT staff does not necessarily need to know how to change a data field but rather what configuration is supported and how to install an update. Office staff does not need to know the intricacies of the computer hardware or the network but should be thoroughly coached on data entry procedures. FOCUS-C.M.C. offers training in each of these areas for each system delivered which includes the clerical staff, management staff, field staff, and IT staff.
Technology Solutions:
FOCUS-CMC
has a strong belief that for software to be truly effective it must meet the unique processing requirements of each user. FOCUS-C.M.C., has endeavored to make its software products as versatile, and adaptable as possible.
Versatility calls for the appropriate technology to be applied in the appropriate setting. To this end FOCUS-C.M.C. has adopted the use of desktops, laptops, FTP (File Transfer Protocol), GPS, Mapping, PDA's, and pencil and paper where appropriate.
Adaptability calls for fitting the systems to the customers. No two states or jurisdictions have the same laws and statutes. We have yet to see identical driver's licenses from different states. It follows, that each computer solution must be adapted to the operation it is supporting. Adapting our systems to the customer's needs is one of the key elements that separate FOCUS-C.M.C. from other software providers.
