Based on customer response, we have enhanced our approach to MIDAS for Elevators, and MIDAS for Boilers and Pressure Vessels.  We now offer MIDAS "Standard" and MIDAS "Custom".

MIDAS "Standard" is a program with the commonly accepted inspection processes built into the system.

MIDAS "Custom" is a program that includes the same features as MIDAS "Standard" but allows for a data sheet, checklist, and inspection findings that meet your company's exact requirements.

The PDA (Personal Data Assistant) is a technological development that can truly revolutionize the capture and entry of data acquired in the field. Just as the laptop moved data entry out of the office, the PDA has moved data entry to the farthest reaches of field operations. The advent of this technology represents a new era in data processing. Once the principles are understood and applied to businesses, the possibilities for enhancing productivity, devising new processes, and increasing profits are almost limitless.

PDA's have evolved from simple appointment planners to fully functional computers capable of performing many of the functions provided on the laptop or desktop. They can perform complex calculations, support relational databases, web browsing, emailing, and many other functions. All of this at a fraction of the cost of a laptop or tablet computer.

FOCUS-C.M.C. now offers the programs and services necessary to utilize PDAs to their fullest. The name of the program is MIDAS (Mobile Inspection Data Acquisition System).

The MIDAS program provides for entry and transfer of data to and from the field. It spans multiple administrative and technical areas. The program affords a high level of user driven administrative controls coupled with an extensive set of field entry features and options. MIDAS can accommodate such field operations as inspections, investigations, audits, surveys, and many others.
