The Building
Appeals and Docket System (BADS)
provides for entry, tracking, and disposition building
appeals cases. The typical appeals are launched by
contractors and architects requesting variances from
local ordinances or building standards.
Program features
include:
• Case Entry including appellant with up to 5
other parties, hearing date and site, three Continuation
Dates, entry of fees and payments, decisions and comments,
and issuing of correspondence.
• Case lookup is provided by project name, address,
city, and adjudication number.
• Additional Service Entry screen provide for
the issuing and billing of miscellaneous services.
• Correspondence includes generic letter setup
with provisions for state seal and signatures.
• Accounting reports including Invoice Journal,
Receipts Journal, and Unpaid Invoice Report.
• Automatic referral to collection agency for
unpaid invoices.
The BADS
is a PC based program compatible with Microsoft
Windows 2000, and Windows XP operating systems and uses
either MS SQL Server 7, MS SQL Server 2000, or MS SQL
Server 2005 databases.
