The Bedding
and Upholstery (Lab and Inspection) System (BUS)
is designed to support the activities associated with
bedding and upholster inspection operations. The program
supports the office operations, laboratory testing
operations, and field inspection operations. Laboratory
testing includes sample registration and analysis
reporting. The program provides for the registration
of foreign and domestic manufactures and supports
U.S. and Canadian bedding registration formats. The
program tracks manufacturers, distributors, and retail
outlets. The program supports voluntary compliance
with non-specific invoicing.
