The Licensing
and Certification System (L&C)
was developed to support the administrative functions
associated with issuing and renewing state required
licenses and/or certifications. It is intended for
those government and/or jurisdictional authorities
that issue various licenses that have similar application
and renewal requirements. Among the unique features
of this program are that the users can add fields
to the database and to the screens. The program can
also be cloned for new licensing operations.
It is designed
to:
• Provide the record keeping functions needed
to maintain the individuals and objects being licensed.
• Provide for the billing and invoicing for fees
and services.
• Provide for the issuing and re-issuing of licenses,
permits, and certificates.
• Provide for the collection of payments and revenues.
• Provide for the correspondence needed to maintain
a dialogue with the applicants.
• Control the user access and security of the
records.
• Provide reporting capabilities necessary for
the management of day to day operations.
The L&C
is a PC based program compatible with Microsoft
Windows 2000, and Windows XP operating systems and uses
either MS SQL Server 7, MS SQL Server 2000, or MS SQL
Server 2005 databases.
