The Plan
Review System for Building Departments (PRSBD)
integrates the process plan review activities with
field inspections into one unified and coordinated
program. The program supports all activities associated
with a building department from application entry
to final plan approval. The inspection side provides
for dispatching of inspections through final inspections
and issuance of Certificates of Occupancy. The program
provides the functions necessary to support a large
and complex building department. The program supports
multiple applications forms, plans-room management,
multiple offices, full-time, part-time, and contractor
plan examiners. The program includes a fully integrated
field inspection component. Documents include Certificate
of Plan Approval, Certificates of Occupancy, Correction
Letters, Invoices, Inspection Reports, and Field Adjudication
Orders.
The PRSBD
is a PC based program compatible with Microsoft
Windows 2000, and Windows XP operating systems and uses
either MS SQL Server 7, MS SQL Server 2000, or MS SQL
Server 2005 databases.
